New York foodies who find themselves with spare spending cash are being offered a $100 ( N20k ) doughnut covered in 24-karat gold flakes. It's made and sold at The Manila Social Club,

owned by Filipino brothers Bjorn De La Cruz and Samuel Ware.

The doughnut contains ube, a purple yam, as well as vintage Cristal, 24-karat edible gold flakes and gold dust. The brothers said they have sold more than five dozen of the doughnuts.....
